Sabino France Opalescent Glass Bird Figurine "Oiseau aux Ailes Déployées"
A dreamlike bird floating in the light
An exquisite piece of Sabino glass infused with French poetic sensibility
Product Description:
This is one of the representative Art Deco works by René Lalique (R. LALIQUE), a master of French glass craftsmanship. The design captures a bird seemingly about to take flight, with its rounded body and spread wings appearing very elegant and lovely, offering gentle solace to the viewer. While predominantly milky white, it features delicate blue gradations in places, allowing for a fantastic change in color depending on the angle of the light.
